Reggie Hendrix has enjoyed a career as an illustrator/designer since the 1980's beginning in New York City's Madison Avenue advertising community. Arriving in Los Angeles in the 1990's, he entered the motion picture industry as a storyboard artist/concept illustrator. This proved to be an invaluable education, for this job description required drawing pictures of movies BEFORE they were filmed. These drawings were made to aid the members of a movie's cast and crew. During this period of working on movies such as; Super Mario Bros.,Species, Baby Geniuses, Galaxy Quest, etc. , Reggie was employed to design and render special effects and stunt sequences, sometimes using traditional artwork with computer technology. This led to independent animation projects, web design and a few lectures on the subject at The American Film Institute and local Los Angeles colleges. A former professional musician, he now composes music that merges with his original art and animation. Reggie's favorite quote, "We're making up the future on the fly, so let's buzz with it."
